I attended my first Bat Mitzvah on Saturday. It seemed like learning my Torah section and Haftarah will be the most difficult but I need to remember it is possible. I need to remember to talk slowly at my Bat Mitzvah, there's no rush. While at my first Bat Mitzvah I realized I still have ALOT of work ahead but it seems like it will all be worth while.
While preparing for my Bat Mitzvah, I have to meet with the Rabbi once a week, and she assigns prayers for me to either sing or read. Then we go over them the next week. I have to work on her assignments fifteen minutes evey day except the day of my lesson and one other day of my choice.
